Speaking at the inauguration, the acting head of department, Malam Muhammad S. Rabiu urged the new exco to consider leadership as a sacrifice and hard work for the progress of the union.
He said the affairs of the association will now demand for their time, energy and resources and suggested that they should know how to balance the scales between time for their studies and that of unionism.
The new exco are Mabur Malau Sylvanus (President), Blessing Ihime (Vice-President), Dan Ocheme (Secretary-General), Suleiman Adokwe (Assistant Secretary-General), Abdullahi Nazirah (Treasurer), Ofim Kelechi Ofim (Financial Secretary), Philip Danladi Gom (Public Relations Officer), Victor Omadefu (Director of Sports), Ebenezer Philip (Director of Socials), Anthonia Kigbu (Auditor-General) and Adamu Ismail (Welfare Director).
Ocheme and Ofim are students of the Mass Communication Department of NSUK
