McPherson University (McU), Ogun State has produced 19 first class graduates for the 2017/2018 session.
The McU Vice Chancellor, Prof. Adeniyi Agunbiade said the First Class graduands achieved the feats in the three Colleges and 11 departments, constituting 27.4 percent of the total graduands.
“The high percentage of students, with excellent and exceptional performance recorded again by this graduating Royal Class, is not unconnected with a culture of rewarding academic excellence instituted in the last two years,” Prof. Agunbiade said.
According to the Vice Chancellor also frowns at all acts of indiscipline on the part of staff and students.
“During the last academic session, about 20 students were rusticated for between one and four semesters, as a result of one form of misconduct or the other,” he noted.
