The Madrasatul- Nurul Yaqeen Islamic school in Anguwar Manko in Abaji Area Council on Saturday graduated 14 students.

In his speech at the occasion, the head teacher, Ibrahim Dantani Sa’eed, said the school has graduated three sets of students since he took over as head teacher.

He commended the parents for their support in the successes achieved over the years, and urged the graduating students to always read the Qur’an while at home so that they would pass the knowledge to the younger ones.

Also speaking, the chairman of the council, Alhaji Abdulrahman Ajiya, congratulated the graduands for the feat after intensive learning of the Qur’an and Hadith.

He, however, harped on the need for residents to continue to live in peace with each other irrespective of ethnic or religious differences.

“I will also want to use this opportunity to draw attention of all of us here that Abaji belongs to all of us whether you are a Christian or Muslim.

“We are at the peak of the political period, hence, we must play politics without any bitterness,” he said.
