Maiduguri colleges get free books

Al-Kalam Foundation, in collaboration with Chevron EVP, has donated textbooks and writing instruments to students of Government Girls College and Government College in Maiduguri, Borno State.

Executive Director, Al-Kalam Foundation, Mrs Bahariye Abdulaziz, said in a statement that a total of 150 students from both schools were given textbooks, dictionaries, exercise books and writing instruments. “There was also a donation of literature books for the libraries in both schools,” she said. 

The items were presented to the schools in the presence of the Commissioner for Education, Alhaji Inuwa Kubo, Special Adviser to the state governor on SUBEB, Alhaji Abba Lawan Wakilbe and other public officers.
