Makurdi defeated Ukum Local Government Area  2 – 0 to win a giant trophy and a cash prize of N1 million.

The tournament’s Most Valuable Player, Master Timothy Imenger, younger brother of former international, Barnabas Imenger received cash prize of N50, 000.00 and a pair of soccer boot, and a 21 Inch Television for his outstanding performance through the competition.

Speaking at the occasion, Mrs. Suswam said the tournament was her own way of complementing the efforts of her husband who has demonstrated remarkable interest in developing sports in the state.

The First Lady pointed out that the aim of the tournament has been achieved with the participation of over eighteen local government councils and urged those who lost to prepare for the next edition.

She charged the youth to shun violence advising them to ignore those that are bent on influencing them with money to cause anarchy in the society.

Vandeikya Local Government won the best behaved team among the eighteen councils that took part in the competition.
