A chief magistrates’ court in Lagos has ordered the remand of a 45-year-old Emmanuel Ogar for allegedly fiddling with his two daughters’ breasts.

The accused was also said to have first stripped himself naked before grabbing his daughters’ breasts.

The police said the incident occurred at Sarumi Street, Agege area of Lagos, where the suspect resides with his daughters.

Ogar was said to have locked the door from inside, stripped himself naked, grabbed the daughters, aged between six and nine years and fondled their breasts to lure them into sex.

However, the victims raised alarm, which attracted their neighbours and the door was forced open.

The police said the girls confirmed that the man is their biological father.

“The accused shamefully sexually molested his daughters by touching their breasts after he had stripped himself naked to seduce them,” the police prosecutor said.

 “After interrogation and having been found culpable, he was charged before the Ogba Magistrates Court for sexual assault.

The court ordered his remand in custody at the Correctional Centre at Kirikiri town, Lagos, following a motion by the prosecutor, Supol Bisi Ogunleye, asking the court to refer the matter to the DPP for advice.

The presiding magistrate, Mrs. E. Kubeinje, granted the request and directed the prosecutor to duplicate the file and send it to the DPP.

 The case was adjourned to January 25, 2022.
