A 30-year-old man accused of attempted murder and armed robbery has been ordered to be remanded in prison by an FCT High Court in Apo.

Sampson Paul was alleged to have stabbed one Francis Ejiakuamu and made away with the victim’s Toyota Corrola car on July 6, 2017.

The police prosecutor, ASP Kufreabbasi Ebong, told the court that Paul of No.144 Cele Junction, Zone 1, Dutse Alhaji, was docked on a four-count charge bordering on armed robbery and attempted culpable homicide.

He said the offence contravened Section 229 of the Penal Code Law.

When the charge was read to him, Paul pleaded not guilty.

The trial judge, Justice Peter Kekemeke, ordered that he should be remanded in prison and adjourned the case to April 10, for hearing.
