A yet-to-be identified person has allegedly drugged his friend, Dangana Madaki and escaped with his motorcycle at Saburi in the Gwagwa Ward of the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) of the FCT.
A member of the vigilante in the area, identified as Samson, said the incident happened on Sunday round 7:12 pm at a drinking joint in the area.
He said the suspect went to a drinking joint in the area after he invited the victim, in which he said the suspect allegedly put a substance inside the victim’s wine.
He said the victim after a while, dozed off and the suspect quietly removed the bike’s keys from the victim’s pocket and zoomed off.

He said, “Upon receiving the information, the vigilantes mobilised to the drinking joint at Saburi where the victim was found sleeping.”
According to him, a member of the vigilante who later identified the victim, rushed to inform the victim’s family who took him to his house.
He said it was upon enquiry that the vigilante discovered that a friend escaped with the victim’s bike after allegedly drugging him, even as he said the vigilantes at Zuba and Dei-Dei had been put on an alert.
The spokeswoman for the FCT Police Command, SP Adeh Josephine, could not reached for comment on the incident.
