Man accuses APC of neglect after selling N30m property to support party

A yet-to-be-identified middle-aged man, has staged a protest at the National Secretariat of the ruling All Progressives Congress located on Blantyre Street, Wuse Area of Abuja.

The lone protester, in a viral video, claimed that the party neglected him despite his significant personal sacrifices for APC.

The video did not specify the exact date of the protest, nor did it indicate whether any party officials eventually addressed him.

The man, who was seen holding a banner, specifically accused the party leadership of abandonment, despite the “money and energy” he invested in the 2023 general elections.

He claimed tghat he sold his property valued at N30 million, to fund and support the party, saying he received no recognition or reward.

The banner read in part: “APC, reward me or kill me.”

In the footage, bystanders could be heard mockingly asking, “Who sent you?”

Efforts to reach the APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, on Friday were unsuccessful yesterday as his phone line remained unreachable.

However, a party official, speaking on the condition of anonymity, claimed to be unaware of the specific incident.

“Honestly, I am not aware of when the protest happened, and I have not watched the video, although I have been briefed on its existence.

“The individual should know exactly who he worked for and direct his grievances to them accordingly,” the official stated.
