The police in Lagos State have arraigned a 52-year-old man, Emmanuel Ohu, for dancing naked before a 12-year-old girl before having anal sex with her.

The prosecutor, Victor Eruada, told the court that the incident happened on Ogbedi Street in Afromedia area of Okokomaiko.

The police said the accused lured the girl to his apartment, stripped himself naked, inserted his fingers into her vagina and had anal sex with her.

The prosecutor further said, “Having satisfied himself, he allowed the girl to go but warned her not to disclose what happened to anyone, but she could not hold it back as informed her parents about what happened to her.

“The matter was reported to the police and Ohu was arrested. During interrogation, he denied having any sexual relationship with the girl.”

The court did not take the accused’s plea following the advice of the prosecutor to refer the matter to the DPP since the victim is a minor.

The magistrate, Mrs M. O. Tanimola, ordered the rmand of the accused pending the outcome of the DPP’s advice and adjourned the case to May 5, 2022.
