Man arraigned over fraud

The Lagos State Police Command on Wednesday arraigned one Lucky Uwandu before the Samuel Ilori Magistrate’s Court, Ogba for stealing and obtaining money fraudulently.

The police prosecutor, Sergeant Oni Dauda told the court that the accused committed the offence between June 12 and August 19, 2017 at No 68, Yayahatan Street, Ogba, in Lagos.

He added that the accused fraudulently converted a sum of N959,000 property of Rimaso Women Empowerment Financial Home.

The accused however pleaded to the charge preferred against him.

The Chief Magistrate, Mrs Ejiro Kubeije, granted the accused bail of N250,000 with one surety and adjourned the case till November 15 for mention.
