A magistrates’ court in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State, has heard the case of one Ajayi Oluwabukola (26) over alleged conspiracy to commit felony and theft.
Police prosecutor, Inspector Oriyomi Apata, told the court yesterday that the defendant and one other at large on or about November 16, 2020, at Ado-Ekiti, did steal the sum of N632,000 belonging to one Ogunniyi Benedict.
The counsel to the defendant, Barrister Stanley Okonkwo, urged the court to grant his client bail, adding that he would not jump bail.
The Magistrate, Mr S. O. Afunso, grant bail of N100,000 with one surety in like sum and adjourned the case to September 9, 2021.
