The police in Ekiti State have arrested one Olajobi Taiwo, 19, of Dallimore Street, Ado-Ekiti, for defiling a 15-year-old girl alongside his friend, who is currently at large.
The police spokesman in the state, SP Sunday Abutu, said investigation revealed that the victim, for fear of being beaten by her mother for wrong doing, ran away from the house, only to be lured by the two suspects to their room, where they both forcefully had carnal knowledge of her.
He said the case had been transferred to the Gender Based Violence Unit of the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, Ado-Ekiti, for investigation.
