The Edo State Police Command has arrested a 32-year-old man, Francis Duwa, over alleged sexual exploitation.

The police also rescued two victims, a male and a female, from the suspect’s apartment in Benin City.

Police spokesperson, ASP Eno Ikoedem, said the suspect was arrested following a distress call from residents who reported suspicious activities.

She alleged that the suspect lured victims to his residence under false pretences and exploited them while recording explicit content without consent.

Ikoedem added that the suspect also conspired with others to circulate the materials for financial gain.

“The victims were rescued and exhibits recovered from the scene,” she said.

She urged youths to pursue legitimate means of livelihood.
