A middle-aged man, Samaila Musa of Yan – Nabaiyye village of Rimi LGA in Katsina has been arrested over alleged enslavement and torture of his two wives.

Samaila was said to have chained and locked up his two wives Fatima Salisu and Hadiza Musa in their matrimonial home and subjected them to torture.

Fatima was said to have been chained for 10 months while Hadiza was  chained for 10 weeks. Confirming the incidence, the spokesman of the state police command, SP Gambo Isah, said the suspect is presently in custody and being investigated.
