A 24-year-old man, Confidence David, has been arrested for being in possession of a locally fabricated pistol in Mabushi, Abuja.

The FCT Police Commissioner, Sunday Babaji, who disclosed this yesterday, said the suspect was arrested alongside one Charles Courage, who confessed to be a member of the cult group, Vikings Confraternity.

CP Babaji said the suspects were arrested during a stop-and-search in the Mabushi axis of the FCT, noting that they would be charged to court after investigation.

He also disclosed that 11 suspects were arrested for vandalism, phone theft and hand bag snatching at various locations in the city centre, adding that those that received the stolen items were also arrested.
