The convict, Olu Gbenga of Bus Terminal, Old Garage, Ado Ekiti, was said to have stolen one jacket valued at N80, 000.00 that was spread on the rope, property of Babatunde Bagilaje.

He added that on March 19, the complainant found the defendant wearing the suit along Ilawe Road, adding that he initially denied but the complainant took him to his community with the help of some passersby.

The prosecutor called one witness and tendered the jacket, statements of the defendant and the complainant as exhibits while the defendant who had earlier pleaded guilty prayed the court to temper justice with mercy.
