Man bags 9 months in prison for stealing bike in Kano

A Kano State Sharia court sitting at Gama PRP has sentenced one Bashir Sani Ungoggo to nine months in a correctional facility for stealing a motorcycle.

The accused was charged for trespassing into the Kano State Ministry of Land and Survey and stole a motorcycle worth N350,000 belonging to one Ibrahim Mansur.

The accused pleaded guilty after the prosecutor, Aliyu Abidin Murtala, read out the charges to him.

The Judge, Mallam Nura Yusuf Ahmed, therefore, sentenced him to nine months in a correctional facility and ordered the return of the motorcycle to the owner.
