Hearing will continue on December 18, 2019 in a case against a 29-year-old man, Paul Eddy Okpo, who the police arraigned before an Ikeja magistrate court, Lagos, for fraud.
The police prosecutor, Mike Unah, alleged that Okpo fraudulently obtained the sum of $75,000 from the complainant, Ozioma Udeh Njoku, in September 2017 and September 2019 at 327 Close, Banana Island, Ikoyi, Lagos, and converted it to his own use.
Chief Magistrate A. A. Fashola admitted the accused person to a bail of N500,000, with a surety whose identity and tax payment status Fashola said must be verified.
