The Ekiti State Police Command has arraigned a 22-year-old man, Ayo Daramola, before an Ado-Ekiti magistrates’ court over alleged possession of charms.
Police prosecutor, Inspector Moyosola Adesola, told the court that the defendant committed the offence on March 25, at about 10am in Ado-Ekiti, alleging that the police found in the possession of the defendant criminal charms contrary to Section 147(b) of the Criminal Laws of Ekiti State, 2021.
Counsel to the defendant, Mr Olawumi Olowolafe, urged the court to grant his client bail.
The Magistrate, Mrs Olubunmi Bamidele, granted the defendant bail in the sum of N20,000 and adjourned the case to April 17.
