A 33-year-old man, Adegboyega Adeyanju, appeared before an Ikorodu magistrates’ court in Lagos State on Tuesday for allegedly stealing 103 bags of cement valued at N1,045,400.
The prosecutor, Insp. Adegeshin Famuyiwa, told the court that the defendant committed the offence on December 29, 2025, on Oreta Road in the Igbogbo area of Ikorodu contrary to the provisions of Section 287 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.
The Magistrate, Mr. O.A. Ogbe, granted the defendant bail in the sum of N250,000 with two sureties in like sum and adjourned to January 22. (NAN)
