The Ekiti State Police Command has arraigned Hussain Adamu (42) before the Chief Magistrate Court on charges of allegedly tampering with a tracking device and willfully damaging a truck belonging to a company in Ado-Ekiti.
The prosecutor, Inspector Akinwale Oriyomi, stated that the offence was punishable under Section 8 of the Cybercrime Act and Section 451 of the Criminal Code Act 2004.
Barrister Oluwafemi Alabi, counsel to the defendant, argued that the offence is bailable and requested the court to grant his client bail.
The Chief Magistrate, Abayomi Adeosun, granted Adamu bail in the sum of N100,000 with one surety in like sum.

The case has been adjourned until July 28 for hearing.
