Zahraddeen Yakubu, according to police investigations lured the small girl to the empty school premises in the early hours of the day, alleging that the accused ran his genitals on the private part of the victim in a bid to have carnal knowledge with her.

The accused Zahradeen Yakubu docked before the court on a two count charges of attempted procreation of a minor and gross act of indecency dismissed the content of the first information report read out to him before the court.
The suspected paedophile, said he was a victim of conspiracy, stating that a female neighbour who was jealous of him made up the allegations levied against him before the court, emphasising that he was a responsible member of the society and as such would never embark into such an ungodly act.
Prosecutor Bashir Yakubu prayed the court that the accused person be remanded in prison custody in accordance to the provisions of section 341 of the penal code law, saying police investigation was still going on and he requested for a date for the prosecution to commence its pursuit of the matter before the court.
In his ruling, Chief Magistrate Aminu Kabara ruled that the accused be remanded in prison custody till the 26 of November 2009 for further hearing on the offences alleged to be committed by the defendant, contravening the provision of section 275 and 285 of the penal code law.
