A man, identified as Idris Yunusa, is reported to have died after two motorcycles collided on Saturday evening near Agyana village, in Abaji Area Council of the FCT.
A witness said the accident occurred at about 8:12pm when one of the cyclists coming from Agyana village did not put on head light.
He said the cyclist that died was coming from Abaji, adding that he hit his head on the road as he fell and that he was rushed to hospital in Abaji, where he died while being attended to.
He said the two cyclists were both taken to Ayaura Primary Health Centre by some residents of Agyana village who rushed to the scene.
Our reporter learnt that the deceased, who worked as a health attendant at Manderegi Primary Health Centre, had been buried at Agyana village by his relatives.
When contacted, the Abaji unit Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), ACC Olasupo Esuruoso, said he got the information but before he mobilized his men to the scene, some sympathisers from Agyana village had already conveyed both accident victims to the hospital.
