A middle-aged man, simply identified as Koko, has reportedly died after inflicting knife injury on himself during a disagreement with a neighbour.
The incident, it was learnt, occurred at the Olorunshogo area, Ilọrin West LGA.
The deceased is said to be the driver of a timber transporter.
City and Crime gathered that the deceased, known for his shot temper and recalcitrant attitude to people, had a disagreement with one of his neighbours known as Wasiu.

“In the process, he reached for a knife and threatened to stab his opponent with it. But in the process, he cut himself in the lap.
“He lost a lot of blood and died shortly after he got to a hospital,” a resident of the area said.
When contacted, the spokeswoman of the state police command, Toun Ejire-Adeyemi (DSP), confirmed the incident.
She said it was a case of suicide, adding however that the case was still under investigation.
