The police in Lagos State have disclosed the death of a 58-year-old man who died while allegedly on a dry spiritual fasting.

The command’s spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, on Tuesday, said the incident happened in the Alagbado axis of the state on Monday at about 6am.

He said the deceased’s younger brother reported at the Alagbado Police Division on Monday that his brother died while undergoing a 19-day dry fasting.

Hundeyin further said, “No foul play suspected; family demands to convey the corpse for burial.” (NAN)
