A 25-year-old man, Ashofo Monday, was yesterday brought before an Ota magistrate court in Ogun State over alleged attempt to defile a toddler.

Monday, who lives at No. 23, Ogundele St., Iyana-Iyesi in Ota, is facing a count charge of attempted defilement.

The prosecutor, Insp. Rosemary Samson, told the court that the accused attempted to defile a three-year-old girl on Nov. 4 at his residence.

Samson said the accused attempted to defile the toddler by ejaculating on her laps. (NAN).
