A man has been arraigned before a Kano Shari’a Court No. 1 sitting in Kofar Kudu over an alleged threat to kill his sister-in-law.

The suspect, Najib Aminu, accused his sister-in-law, Hauwa Sanusi, of being behind the misunderstanding with his wife and allegedly threatened to deal with her.

When prosecuting counsel, Barr. Aliya Aminu ‘Yargaya read the charges to him, he pleaded not guilty.

The judge, Khadi Shamsuddeen Ado Abdullahi Unguwar Gini, administered him on bail and adjourned the case till May 5 for witness testimony.
