A man in Fuqing City of southeast China’s Fujian Province put his head inside a washing machine while trying to fix it.
In the process, he clearly miscalculated the size of his head which got stuck inside the washing machine.
The incident happened around 2:40pm on Monday, local news portal fjsen.com reported.
The man found the machine was not working when he turned it on to wash his clothes. He thought there might be something stuck at the bottom of the cylinder and put his head into the machine to check.
Then he found his head stuck in the machine and could not move. His roommate reported to the police after failing to pull him out by wiping soap around the tip of the cylinder.
Six firemen had to take 40 minutes of rescue efforts to help him head-out by slicing the cylindrical washing machine. The man only suffered minor scratches on his head.
The man reportedly still didn’t understand what happened.
“I managed to very successfully stick my head into the machine, so I don’t understand why I got stuck,” he said, according to the Metro.
Last month (May 5), a two-year-old baby boy in Neijiang city of southwest China’s Sichuan Province was stuck in a washing machine on this year and was finally rescued out by firemen after sawing the machine.
