A 25 year old man simply identified as Muhammad Musbahu yesterday committed suicide by hanging himself at Gangaren Abattoir in Rahamawa area of Katsina metropolis.
Kano Chronicle gathered the hanging corpse was discovered by neighbours the next day when they observed that the house has remained locked all day.
An eye witness told our reporter that a ladder was used to cross over the house walls and upon getting into one of the rooms in the house, the deceased corpse was found with rope round his neck.
According to the witness, the corpse was untied and taken to the police station and upon search some illicit drugs were found in the deceased pockets.
When contacted the police public relations officer in the state DSP Aminu Sadiq confirmed the incident, saying that preliminary investigations indicated that there was no any foul play in the murder case. He said the victim closed himself in the house and used blocks to tie up his neck at the center of the room.
