A male resident of Ja’en quarters in Kano state, Ibrahim Isma’il has been arraigned before a Magistrate Court 25 in Gyadi-Gyadi for criminal breach of trust.
According to the Police First Information Report (FIR), one Anas Yako of Yako village reported the case to the police.
Yako informed the police that he gave the accused items worth N87, 000 with a promise to bring the money in six days, but he failed to redeem his pledge.
When the charge sheet was read to the accused, he pleaded guilty to the one-count charge of criminal breach of trust which contradicted section 312 of Penal Code Law.
The presiding judge, Magistrate Abdu Abubakar Maiwada has adjourned the case to 31st of July, 2017.
