A magistrates’ court in Ado-Ekiti has granted an ex parte motion to remand one Johnson Hanson (40) in the custody of the Department of State Services (DSS) in Ado-Ekiti.
The DSS, through Barrister Olaolu Olayinka, had sought an order of the court to remand the suspect for 14 days pending the completion of their investigation.
Barr Olayinka told the court that Hanson was arrested over destruction of forestry reserve and growing Indian hemp at the Ekiti State Conservation Site, Ise Ekiti.
