A man, Abdulsamad Abdullahi, has been jailed 12 months for breaking into a house in Itesiwajurere community, behind Harmony Estate, Ilorin, Kwara State, and stealing flat screen TV sets.
Earlier, after the thief was apprehended, the owner of the property requested him to demonstrate how he gained entrance into the house, and while he was doing so he was filmed, the video of which went viral.
The spokesman of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in the state, Michael Shola Ayoola, who confirmed the incident, said, “Following a thorough investigation, the suspect, Abdulsamad Abdullahi, was found guilty of burglary and theft.
