An Ota magistrates’ court in Ogun State on Thursday sentenced a 23-year-old man, Mohammed Abubakar, to three months imprisonment for biting off the finger of his friend.

The magistrate, A. O. Adeyemi, sentenced Abubakar without an option of fine.

Earlier, the prosecutor, Insp E. O. Adaraloye, told the court that the accused committed the offence on February 7, at about 10pm at Oja Ijoko, Ota.

Adaraloye said the accused bit off the right pinky finger of his friend, Adamu Abdullahi. (NAN)
