An Upper Shari’a Court sitting at Kofar Kudu, Municipality, has sentenced a man to five years imprisonment without the option of a fine after he was found guilty of armed robbery.
Abdullahi Nasir, along with others still at large, went to a residence at Tishama in the Hotoro area of Nasarawa LGA.
They reportedly frightened the occupants and some young ladies, then robbed them of valuable items.
The stolen items included pieces of Atamfa brocades and mobile phones.

The robbers also transferred N1 million from one of the phones.
Delivering the judgment, Khadi Ibrahim Sani Yola ordered Nasir to pay N2 million for the robbed items and the money removed using one of the victims’mobile phone applications.
