A magistrates’ court in Ado-Ekiti has ordered the remand of one Dare Audu (28) who killed his 6-year-old daughter.
The prosecutor, Insp Oriyomi Akinwale, told the court Wednesday that the defendant, killed his daughter, Ayomide Audu, on February 19, in Ilawe-Ekiti.

Insp Akinwale urged the court to remand the defendant to allow the police to submit a copy of its report to the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) for legal advice.
The magistrate, Bukola Oluwasanmi, ordered the remand of the defendant at the correction centre in Ado-Ekiti until March 23.
