A middle-aged man, who allegedly stole one iPhone X valued at N380,000, has been dragged before a magistrate court in Igbosere, Lagos.
The accused, Oni Oluwaseun, and others still on the run were alleged to have committed the offence on September 27, 2018 at about 11.50 pm at Noah Ark Hotel, Lekki Phase 1, Eti-Osa Local Council Development Area.
Police prosecutor, Friday Mameh, alleged that Oluwaseun stole the phone, property of Ramon Aderibigbe, and thereby committed an offence punishable under Section 287 Criminal Law of Lagos State 2015.
It was further alleged that the accused and others still at large also stole one iPhone 7 valued at N150,000 and a golden chain valued at N800,000, property of Olumide Adebayo.
When the charge was read to the accused, he pleaded not guilty.
Magistrate M.O. Oshinbajo granted him bail in the sum of N200,000, with one surety before adjoining further hearing till October 25, 2018.
