Man paraded for killing lover in Edo hotel

The Edo State Police Command has paraded an 18-year-old man, Kingsley Paul, for allegedly killing his lover (38), in a hotel.

The suspect was paraded alongside 12 other suspects arrested over alleged involvement in crimes ranging from murder to kidnapping.

The command’s spokesman, SP Moses Yamu, said the murder suspect took his woman friend to a hotel in Benin and stabbed her to death with a knife.

He said that on receipt of the information, operatives moved to the hotel and rushed the victim to hospital where she was confirmed dead.

In an interview with journalists, Kingsley said he took the woman on an agreed fee of N2,000 which paid her.

He said, ‘’The woman had already taken off her clothes ready for action when I stabbed her to death.

“There was no quarrel between us, I just suddenly took out a knife and stabbed her to death.’’
