A magistrate court sitting in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State, has ordered the remand of one Caleb Ajobor (31) at the correctional custody in Ado-Ekiti over alleged assault and threat to life.
The prosecutor, Inspector Akinwale Oriyomi, said the defendant on June 29, at about 10am, at Ekute Quarters, Ado-Ekiti, assaulted and threatened the life of one Olowolagba Omotayo.
Inspector Oriyomi added that the defendant hit the chest of the woman and conducted himself in a manner likely to cause a breach of peace. According to the prosecutor, the offense is punishable under Sections 185, 46, 181(d) laws of Ekiti State of Nigeria, 2021.
