A Chief Magistrate court sitting in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State, has ordered the remand of one Arisoyin Oyindamola Kolawole (24) at the police custody over an alleged attempted murder.
The prosecutor, Inspector Akinwale Oriyomi, informed the court that the defender was reasonably suspected to have attempted to murder one Corporal Idowu Osadare, attached to the state CID in Ado-Ekiti on May 21.
The prosecutor noted that the offence was punishable under Section 246 of the Criminal Laws of Ekiti State, 2021.
Inspector Oriyomi added that the duplicate of the case file had been sent to the Director of Public Prosecution for legal advice.

Chief Magistrate Abayomi Adeosun remanded the defendant till June 13, for mention.
