An Iyaganku family court sitting in Ibadan, Oyo State, on Wednesday, remanded in prison a tenant, Kareem Mojeed, over allegedly defiling his landlord’s seven-year-old daughter.
The Magistrate, Mrs Olabisi Ogunkanmi, who did not take Mojeed’s plea, ordered that the case file should be sent to the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) for advice and adjourned the case to October 14.
Earlier, the prosecutor, Insp Gbemisola Adedeji, told the court that the defendant on July 21, in the Ebedi area of Ibadan, lured the girl into his room and defiled her. (NAN)
