An Ikeja magistrates’ court in Lagos, on Thursday, ordered the remand of a man, Mustapha Abiodun (44), at the Ikoyi Correctional Centre for defiling a 16-year-old girl.

Earlier, the prosecutor, DSP Kehinde Ajayi, told the court that the accused committed the offence between April and December, 2021, on Ojom Crescent, Ajefunle Toll Gate, Lagos.

She said Abiodun lured the girl and unlawfully had sexual intercourse with her.

The magistrate, Mrs E. Kubeinje, ordered the accused to be remanded at the Ikoyi Correctional Centre and adjourned the case to May 5.
