The Anambra State Police Command has arrested one Christian Ndubuisi, who allegedly murdered his elder brother over a minor disagreement.
The arrest was carried out by the operatives attached to the 3-3 Divisional Headquarters, who acted swiftly on a report.
According to the command’s spokesman, SP Ikenga Tochukwu, preliminary information revealed that the suspect, during a fight with the deceased, broke a bottle and stabbed his elder brother.
He said the victim was rushed to a hospital but was confirmed dead by the doctor on duty.
Ikenga also stated that the Commissioner of Police, Ikioye Orutugu, noted that the incident served as a sober reminder of the importance of conflict resolution and anger management.
He said the commissioner had directed that the case be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department in Awka.
