The police in the FCT have arrested a middle-aged man, Nweke Chadikaobi, who manhandled a 10-year-old boy, Oluebube Emmanuel, in Abuja.

Spokesperson of the command, DSP Adeh Josephine, who confirmed the arrest in a statement on Wednesday, said the suspect, who resided at Range View Estate, Dawaki, Abuja, was a relative of the victim.

According to her, police operatives trailed and arrested him after watching a video of how the suspect carried out the inhuman treatment on the minor.

She said, “The painstaking effort expended led to the arrest of the suspect on Monday, May  30, 2022, and the suspect upon interrogation, admitted to the commission of the crime, stating the reasons for his action to be the fact that the minor bed wets, among other sundry offenses.”
