Man who stole grandmum’s soap granted pardon after 120 days in prison

A man, Hassan Ahmadu, has been released from prison after serving a 120-day sentence for stealing his grandmother’s wrappers and soap.

Ahmadu was convicted and sentenced to two years in prison by the Upper Area Court in Maiha LGA, Adamawa State, about four months ago.

He was released on Monday when the Jail Delivery Committee, led by the Chief Judge of the state, Justice Hapsat Abdulrahaman, visited the Maiha Correctional Centre.
