Manchester City cut Arsenal EPL lead to points with win at Leeds

Semenyo scored the winner for Manchester City in their 1-0 victory over Leeds in the English Premier League.

‎The Ghanaian winger netted in the first half to claim all three points for Pep Guardiola’s side as they continue to bear down on Arsenal in the title race.

‎Leeds looked lively in the first half and saw chances go begging, including Dominic Calvert-Lewin failing to convert from ten yards.

‎The Etihad side punished Daniel Farke’s side with the lead two minutes into first half added time. Semenyo stretched to connect with Ryan Ait-Nouri’s low ball into the box, sending his effort into the net for his sixth goal since joining Man City in January.

‎Marc Guehi went close for City in the second period, but Leeds almost claimed a point in the dying minutes through Jaka Bijol, but his header went wide, and the visitors saw out the win for a third consecutive at Leeds United’s ground, and a fifth consecutive league win victory over the Whites.

‎The second-placed club cut Arsenal’s lead at the top to two points, while Leeds are still much in relegation struggle, stagnant in 15th place with 31 points from 28 matches.
