Chairman of Kuje Area Council, Abdullahi Suleiman Sabo, has said many unemployed youths in the area are in trauma over lack of jobs.

Sabo, who was represented by his vice, Mr. Kwasu Shame Darka, spoke at a seminar organised by the council. He said many people are becoming hopeless because they could not secure good jobs.

He said it was on that premise that the council decided to train youths on skill acquisition to become self-reliant.

The chairman urged participants to make good use of the training by thinking towards entrepreneurial development.

Also speaking, the head of Department for Education of the council, Hajiya Zainab Gojara, commended the council chairman for organizing the training programme for the youth of the council, saying such a move would ensure that they do not engage in social vices.
