Marghi Youths Development Association (MYDA) Kano chapter has launched a new uniform and called on its members to be law abiding citizens.
The state Chairman of the association, Mr. Apagu Awamuwaiwaeba made the call during the association’s end of year party and the launching of the new uniform held in the state capital.
He said Marghi community was known for its peaceful coexistence wherever its members finds themselves adding that it was a duty upon each and every member to ensure adherence to law and order governing the conduct of whatever they do.
“Marghi people are law abiding citizen and that is why we are imploring on our members to be of good character. We should love ourselves as well as love others; we should be good ambassadors of Marghi. For years we have enjoyed hospitality from the people of Kano; that is why I am urging you to be good as well,” he pleaded.
Various cultural activities were displayed at the occasion as well as the unveiling of the new uniform which signifies progress and prosperity to all.
