Married women pageant: Nigerian rep. arrives Durban for Mrs Universe 2017, seeks support

Nigerian representative at the Mrs Universe 2017, Mrs Faith Ifeoma Ogaga has arrived Riverside Hotel in Durban, South Africa, venue for the Mrs Universe 2017 World pageant and she seeks moral support from Nigerians back home.

Mrs Universe is a world renowned married women pageant and a ‘non-Bikini’ pageant that selects the most beautiful women who are role models to the marriage institution and have affected lives in their society.

Mrs Ogaga is asking Nigerians to continue to pray for her to enable her win the world crown for Nigeria adding that Nigerians living in South Africa should come out and support her in the 7 days programme of activities billed for the grand finale of the event.

The pageant has 88 beautiful women representing different countries and continent lodged at the Riverside Hotel.

Our reporter learnt that every day, the contestants are judged by their appearance, attitude and other qualities before the crowning event billed for 2nd of September.

They will be visiting different places and showing their rich cultural heritage.

Some of the events lined up, according to the organiser, include tourists’ site visitation, orphanages, presentation by each contestant on Violence against women and children, Country Cultural display, a March for Violence against women and children etc.
