The fresh election ordered by the National and State Houses of Assembly election tribunal is to be conducted in only 15 polling units of the Mashi/Dutsi Federal Constituency.

The chairman of the tribunal, LM Boufini in his ruling as he nullifies the election, said the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is to hold the election within 90 days.

Boufini averred that the election was substantially marred with irregularities and non-compliance with the electoral act.

He explained that 15 polling units were greatly affected by the problem which should have change the tide of the election if their votes are well captured and articulated.
